Holiday Mini-Session [Howard Family] / San Juan Capistrano Family Photographer

Shooting this family was such a good time! I got to hang out with the cutest little man, Cole and his hysterical and very sweet Grandpa. Between those two, I was smiling and laughing the entire session 🙂

But then it got even better. Yvonne has given me permission to share these special photos of her telling her parents that Cole is going to be a big brother! I had no idea Yvonne and Mike were expecting before the shoot so when Yvonne told her parents I was just as surprised as they were and had to remind myself to stay put and shoot, shoot , shoot! Everyone was so excited and it was such an honor to witness the big reveal of a new family addition. Another reason why I love my job!

Thank you for allowing me to photograph your family. You were all so amazing! Congratulations again; I can’t wait to see your new little love.

Holiday Mini-Session [Martinez Family] / San Juan Capistrano Family Photographer

I have photographed the Martinez family several times and I just adore watching the kids grow! They are full of spunk, energy and love!

It was so fun watching how the kids play with each other and the awesome bond they share. And, as a new mother to a little girl, it melted my heart seeing how much these little girls love their Daddy. It’s such a special relationship and one I was so happy to be able to document.

While our session lasted just 30 minutes I know I could’ve photographed this family for much, much longer.

Holiday Mini-Session [Cuthbertson Family] / San Juan Capistrano Family Photographer

This 2013 Holiday Mini-Session season was crazy fun and I met so many amazing families!

And what a way to kick it off with this beautiful family! I have known Katherine for years and she always has the BEST style. Whether it’s dressing for an event or hosting a party, Katherine will always have the most impressive outfit, home decor or table design you can imagine! So, I was not surprised when she and her family (doggie Charlie included!) showed up so fashionably. A photographer’s dream…and ya gotta love a baby in a bow tie!

It was such a blast photographing you all! Can’t wait to see these sweet kiddos grow. Enjoy!

Family Session [The Jack Family] / San Juan Capistrano Family Photographer

This was a FUN session! The Jack brothers are full of character, silliness and lots of energy!! Boys will be boys! 😉

I had such a great time following these two around with their mom! Lisa really wanted to capture her boys as they are now and we did just that! I love their exuberant personalities, the way they play with each other, how carefree they are! A perfect snapshot in time.

I can’t wait to get them in front of my lens again in the new year with their whole family!

Irvine Regional Park Engagement Session [Jenny & Travis] / Irvine Engagement Photographer

When I first met Jenny she told me that she and Travis loved the great outdoors (Travis proposed on a scenic hike) and their ~~baby~~ dog Cooper! So it was only fitting that we shot their engagement photos at the rustic Irvine Regional Park with Cooper in tow, of course!

Jenny and Travis are so obviously in love. They are so sweet with each other, so considerate and totally laid back and silly too! The perfect combination. It was a blast hanging out with these two and capturing their love!

There are few things I love more than LOVE and puppy dogs…but, a gorgeous pair of heels and a fabulous dress are right up there! I mean seriously, check out that dress! Pair those things with the most perfect golden light and I am one happy photographer. I could’ve photographed these two for hours but they had their engagement party to go to that night and I didn’t want to be too pushy 😉

I cannot wait for their wedding this April at the always beautiful Villa San Juan Capistrano! It’s going to be an amazing day and best of all, at the end of that amazing day Jenny and Travis will be husband and wife. It doesn’t get much better than that.
